Hi there, and welcome. My name is Rose, and I’m an eclectic folk practitioner, a mental health professional, and the hands and heart behind this little corner of the internet.
As a multiracial woman, I come from many bloodlines, and with that, many inherited traditions. My practice is rooted primarily in Catholic folk magic and Appalachian folk traditions, though I also work within Melungeon conjure, a powerful system of magic deeply intertwined with Hoodoo, passed down through generations of resistance, survival, and ancestral wisdom.
This website and small business were born out of necessity. I was searching for spiritually aligned tools for my own practice and realized just how little existed for practitioners like me—especially those walking the path of Folk Catholicism, a tradition that blends pre-Christian, Indigenous, and Catholic beliefs into something sacred and deeply personal. I wanted to change that.
Everything you see here is a labor of love. Each oil is handmade, spelled, and consecrated by me personally, with intention, prayer, and power. This business is not just a shop, it is a living tribute to my ancestors, those who syncretized their native traditions with Christianity to preserve what was sacred in the face of colonization. Their resilience made this possible. Every bottle I send out carries that lineage.
By day, I work as a mental health professional. By night (and any spare moment I get), I create cozy hobby content and share folk magic education across TikTok, Instagram, and Patreon. I love teaching others how to reclaim their own ancestral practices and walk this path with intention and care.
I live in Oregon with my amazing husband and our two cats, Baby and Nugget, who are both my familiars and my chaos gremlins. Folk practice brings me joy. It grounds me. It connects me to nature, the Gods, my ancestors, and myself.
