Memento Mori Conjure Oil: LIMITED

MEMENTO MORI 1oz

Remember That You Must Die.

Limited-Edition Halloween Collection | Roses Folk Cabinet

“The tragedy is not that life ends, but that we so often wait to begin living it.”

There is an ancient Latin reminder that has echoed through centuries of philosophy, religious contemplation, and art: Memento Mori — remember that you must die.

It is not a warning intended to inspire fear. It is an invitation to awaken.

Memento Mori is a limited-edition conjure oil created to confront the quiet ways we abandon ourselves while waiting for the perfect moment to begin living.

How many dreams have you postponed? How many opportunities have you allowed to pass because you were waiting to feel ready? How many versions of yourself have you buried beneath procrastination, fear, complacency, or the comfortable familiarity of an unfulfilled life?

Memento Mori was created for the moment you decide that waiting is no longer an option.

THE CONJURING

Memento Mori is formulated and spiritually worked with the intention of awakening dormant ambition, breaking cycles of procrastination, confronting complacency, and restoring a sense of urgency toward the life you wish to create.

Unlike traditional motivation or success oils, Memento Mori is not concerned with simply attracting opportunities. Its work begins internally, confronting the habits, fears, and patterns that prevent you from pursuing what already matters to you.

This is an oil for those who have become spectators in their own lives.

Its spiritual intentions include:

✦ Awakening & Reclamation: Reviving abandoned dreams, forgotten ambitions, and parts of yourself that have been neglected or suppressed.

✦ Breaking Procrastination: Working against cycles of avoidance, hesitation, and perpetual postponement.

✦ Confronting Complacency: Encouraging honest recognition of where comfort, fear, or stagnation have prevented meaningful growth.

✦ Restoring Purpose: Reconnecting with your priorities, aspirations, and the legacy you wish to leave behind.

✦ Urgency & Decisive Action: Cultivating the determination to pursue meaningful change rather than endlessly waiting for ideal circumstances.

✦ Personal Transformation: Supporting the symbolic death of outdated habits, limiting beliefs, and identities that no longer serve the person you are becoming.

THE PHILOSOPHY OF MEMENTO MORI

Throughout history, the contemplation of mortality has served as a powerful instrument of spiritual and philosophical reflection.

In Christian monastic traditions, the remembrance of death encouraged humility, discipline, repentance, and intentional living. In classical philosophy, mortality served as a reminder that time is finite and therefore profoundly valuable.

Memento Mori draws inspiration from this enduring philosophy.

Its central message is simple:

You do not have forever to become the person you intend to be.

This oil is not created to inspire recklessness or fear of death. Rather, it is intended to encourage a deeper appreciation of life and a renewed commitment to living deliberately.

The purpose is not to fear the passing of time, but to stop surrendering it.

SUGGESTED USES

Memento Mori may be incorporated into spiritual workings centered on personal transformation, renewed ambition, discipline, and reclaiming one’s sense of purpose.

Petition Work: Anoint written petitions identifying the habits you intend to release and the ambitions you are ready to pursue.

Candle Work: Dress appropriate ritual candles during workings focused on breaking stagnation, overcoming procrastination, and initiating meaningful change.

Journaling & Reflection: Incorporate the oil into contemplative practices surrounding mortality, personal legacy, and the intentional use of time.

Personal Transformation Rituals: Use during workings intended to symbolically release an outdated version of yourself and establish a renewed commitment to your future.

Goal Setting: Anoint a designated ritual object or petition associated with a specific goal, particularly one you have repeatedly postponed.

For best results, pair your spiritual work with deliberate, practical action toward your stated intentions.

A NOTE FROM ROSE

Memento Mori was created around a question that I believe everyone should confront at least once in their lifetime:

If you knew your time was limited, would you continue living the way you are now?

There is something profoundly unsettling about recognizing how easily entire years can disappear into waiting.

Waiting for confidence. Waiting for permission. Waiting for circumstances to change. Waiting for a future version of ourselves to finally begin.

I wanted to create an oil that embodies the uncomfortable but necessary realization that our lives are happening now.

Not someday.

Not when everything is perfect.

Now.

Remember that you must die. And remember, more importantly, that you have not yet finished living.
